We are proud to have Malo Wines in our portfolio. After visiting this winery and staying at their chateaux for 3 days, we were hooked on their wines, their beautiful winery and calming atmosphere. On their property, they hold many events in their large outdoor bay, a quiet pool to enjoy their wines in and of course hundred year old cork trees to shade the landscape.
With a solid working team, a great winemaker and a winery equipped with the latest technology, the wines are made from a blend of varieties, Fernão Pires, Muscat, Arinto, Chardonnay for the whites, and Periquita, Aragonês, Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Alicante Bouschet for the reds. All the wines are produced from their own vines being the maturation and the fermentation controlled by a sophisticated and high and high-tec laboratory.
With a stabilized production currently around 1.000 tons, the wines result from a very strong belief in quality, which is recognized by the market, wine magazines and awards in national and international Wine Challenges.
Ever since the beginning, Malo monitored and controlled the various stages of the production from vine to bottle, with the intention of producing high quality wines throughout the years. One of their major concerns is the awareness of environmental persevation, and since the beginning they have been using techniques and products non-aggressive to the environment.
